Random Act Theater is theater in the English language. It was founded in 2009 in Düsseldorf by admirers of American and British theater and english-speaking actors. At the moment, we do not have a permanent location but we use the stages available in Düsseldorf.
We want to give all who enjoy the English language an opportunity to watch perfomances in the english language, at the same time giving an insight in the past and present cultural scene of the US and Britain. Therefore we do not focus on a special kind of productions; our goal is to entertain. We want to present classical and modern plays from the British or American theater scene as well as self-created plays. Our repertoire is anything feasible in small locations indoors and outdoors.
