"Holy Ghosts"

Seeking to retrieve his runaway wife (and the possessions she has taken with her), Coleman Shedman arrives at the rural meeting house of a southern pentecostal sect with a lawyer in tow. But his wife, Nancy, is unwilling to forsake the love and protection of her new "husband", the Reverend Obediah Buckhorn, and return to the brutal, hard-drinking Coleman. And when the strapping Reverend Buckhorn himself arrives, it is quickly evident that Coleman will not be able to take her back by force. Rich with atmosphere and the feel of southern rural life, the play blends humor and poignancy as it probes into the circumstances and stories of the various cult members, culminating in a gripping snake-handling scene and a surprise ending.

After a successful and exciting premier on July 16, only connect! will once again present their latest production, Holy Ghosts by Romulus Linney. If you missed the premier and second show, now is your chance to catch the amazing performances by the students from the University of Duisburg-Essen and Folkwang University. Don't miss it!

The students will offer an open "dress rehearsal" to the public at the new cultural center at the "Südbahnhof" Saumstr.9, 47805 in Krefeld on Saturday, September 18th beginning at 7PM.

only connect! will participate in the Wissenschaftsnacht on September 24th. The students will preform Holy Ghosts at 8PM
